TOMMASO LAURORA

Manzi Marmi
The story of Tommaso Laurora dates back to his childhood in the 1970s when, after finishing school, he followed in his father Vincenzo's footsteps. Vincenzo instilled in him a passion for marketing Trani stone, especially in northern Italy and southern France. In 2005, he crossed paths with Francesco Manzi, a true visionary in the industrial world of stone. Intrigued, he joined the historic company Manzi Marmi srl as a sales representative, taking on the role of technical/commercial director for relationships with public and private clients and the dissemination of stone artifacts. Today, Manzi Marmi srl is a national and international reference for stone from its own quarries, boasting important clients such as architectural studios and companies like Luxottica, Apple, and Borgo Egnazia. "My mission is to create human connections and synergies in the world of work, for me, the individual comes first."

Biomatcanapa
In 2012, while immersed in the world of architecture and construction, Tommaso Laurora came into contact with the world of green building through another individual who fascinated him with stories about eco-friendly materials. That individual was Architect Leo Pedone, who, along with his brothers Piero and Massimo, established the largest construction site in Europe using lime and hemp, Case di Luce, which has received numerous national and international awards. Over time, Biomat has also become a producer of eco-building systems at its facility in Foggia. The number of construction sites throughout Italy has increased as awareness and sensitivity toward the environment grow. Zero CO2 emissions, energy efficiency, sustainability, well-being, breathability, and comfort are the guiding principles that drive the company towards its clients. This year, Biomat will also be present at Klimahouse in Bolzano and Fuorisalone in partnership with the Park Associati studio in Milan. In this endeavor, Tommaso brings his extensive experience to the table.
