GIUSEPPE RUGGIERI

Giuseppe Ruggieri, holding a degree in Modern Literature, after completing a university master's degree in micro-criminality and social prevention, found in social cooperation the operational tool for his realization. In 2012, he became president of Reti Meridiane – an interregional consortium of social cooperatives in Puglia, Basilicata, and Molise – managing two national projects involving 6 regions in southern Italy, funded by the Foundation with the South. He passed on the baton in 2022.

At the same time, in 2015, he was appointed to the board of directors of Mestieri Puglia – a labor agency and from 2016 to 2019, he became its vice president. In 2020, he assumed the management of the Martina Franca branch and in 2022 was appointed commercial director for Puglia.

Now a freelance journalist as a hobby, he is a provincial and regional councilor of Confcooperative Puglia.
